Recap of our Spring Style Show

On Friday, May 29, we hosted our 3rd Style Show where we shared four curated collections, with proceeds benefiting Dress for Success - Des Moines, an incredible organization helping women become financially independent. My goal was to have 40 women there and raise at least $500.

Although attendance was lighter than I had hoped, I couldn't have asked for a better group of women who made the night one to remember. The nice thing about having a small group were the connections made between the ladies and after receiving so many texts on how much fun they had, my disappointment of not getting 40 women there went away.

As many of you know, we had a booth at Painted Tree Boutiques that abruptly closed in April due to Painted Tree Boutiques filing bankruptcy. Because our Johnston boutique doesn't get a ton of traffic, I've been more focused and determined to find other ways to cover expenses so we're so grateful to be part of THREE exciting pop-up events where you can not only shop our boutique but a lot of other local businesses!

I'm so excited to collab with a local influencer, Kaitlyn Norgaard (aka Inspired Iowan) for her birthday!
